Program notes
court circuit is an audiovisual show that explores human's dependency on nature and technology. In a not so distant future in which energy has become scarce, two scientists attempt to capture a lightning.
Bringing together music, performance, video and lights, the duo "ocean explosion" immerse the audience in an absurd dystopian narrative, dealing critically with themes such as technological progress, unregulated capitalism, and the idea of space colonisation as an answer to our ever-growing need for energy and resources.
Winning project of the 2026 "Scratch" call by Musikfestival Bern and the Hochschule der Künste Bern.
